This happens so often that Hal Huggins (a specialist in this field) wrote a book call "It's All In Your Head", ...because doctor after doctor will tell you there's nothing wrong with you... it's all in your head.

Unfortunately, very few hospitals/doctors have the expertise to determine if you are mercury poisoned, however, you certainly have the symptoms.

My question is how long does mercury amalgam release vapors and low electrical currents into the body and brain? Do they ever stop releasing vapors?

They are not generally safe after 8 years from the research I've done. If they were, you would have likely died simply from the amount of mercury you had been exposed to. I had my fillings since I was in high school and at 35 the exposure was so high, I could only work 4 hours a day and was losing ground fast.

There is some conflicting information out there but generally, it all says that amalgams are dangerous and that some people react faster and more drastically than others. When I found out that I had them and determined (by looking at the symptoms) that my problems were caused by them, I had them replaced within about 3 weeks. Beginning the next day, my life began to change for the better in a dramatic way. Now, a couple years later, I'm well on my we to getting back to working out daily and I believe I will be at 100% before long.

About the electrical currents...

Mine were measured before the removal and most of the fillings had voltage, a few up to 9 microvolts. My father also had his removed about 40 years after they were put in and had voltages between 30 microvolts and 50 microvolts on 2 of his (just last year)!

It's really important to understand that most (not all) Dentist and Doctors often repeat what they've heard in medical school... Information which is decades out of date and often inaccurate to begin with. I grew up in a medical family and was often surrounded by doctors.

If I were you, I'd read the book, "It's All In Your Head" by Hal Huggins cover to cover. This way you'll gain a good understanding about what's going on and how to deal with it. If you don't want to take the time and can afford it, you may just want to have them removed but you have to find a Dentist who is trained by Huggins in the safe removal of the mercury and knows what materials are safe to put in. Choose your dentist carefully and remember, they work for you. Choose one you're comfortable with.
