The date is September 22nd. I'm looking forward to this so badly I can taste it.
I will definitly keep all of you posted. For the sake of others struggling, my current symtoms are as follows:

insomnia
chronic fatigue
high anxiety
obsessive thoughts
depression
dark circles under eyes
metallic taste in mouth
constant ringing in ears
fear of losing control
fear of "going crazy"
shortness of breath
can't "turn off" my mind/overthinking
sore joints

I'm a male, 29 years of age. Sometimes I feel like i'm literally hanging on by a thread. I first heard about mercury toxicity when during my first colonic, my hydro therapist asked if I was a heavy drinker, I said no, I hardly ever drink. She said, well how's your diet? I said, my diet is primarily raw foods. She said, then you must have some major metal toxicity going on here, cause your liver is working over time and your colonic has been nothing but liver bile. Right when I got home I started doing online research, I purchased Huggins renowned book, I told my phychiatrst...she sighed & rolled her eyes, I never went back.

I have so far been VERY impressed with the dentist I have chosen. Dr. Sukel. I am very skeptical and have had many bad experiences with flakey so-called holistic practitioners. I am a very factually/scientifically based person and feel that the best way to approach heath issues are a blend of western and eastern data. I've had "doctors" tell my I needed "energy channeling" ect.. Personally, I'm an aethiest/skeptical agnostic so that stuff doesn't fly for sh*t with me. I needed REAL ANSWERS to the root of my chemical imbalances, I need DATA!
Dr. Sukel was very frank, pleasent, and SCIENTIFICALLY based. He simply showed me states, data, and research developments regarding people's symptoms in relation to mercury amalgams.
Not that it should matter a whole lot, but his social skills were very saavy, and he wasn't flaky, cheesy, and wasn't "overly" nice or fake.
Upon looking at my x rays he told me that my root canal from last summer had enough mercury in it to contaminate a small lakes or an entire water sources for at least a 20 mile area.
The following is what i'm going to have done on the 22nd:

the removal of 6 amalgams
the installation of 6 non metal ceramic fillings
the removal of a large root canal
the removal of my 2 top wisdom teeth

This can be a long journey but the major trend should be uphill.

Well, I just had em all removed yesterday actaully. The surgery was a bit scary and my cavities were deep. No change yet in my mood or bad thought patterns, but I have noticed that my ears have pretty much stopped ringing all togather,which is great news! They were ringing non stop & loud for the past 8 years!
That horrid metallic taste is also gone. Thats pretty much all i've noticed changing so far. I'll keep everyone posted........

How are you doing now? Have any of your symptoms improved? I'm pretty much at the same stage as you - finally had all my amalgam fillings removed on 2nd October although I have had this done over three months.

No noticeable changes in my health as yet but it's probably early days.
