Have reason to believe i have mercury poisoning from amalgam fillings (16 in total). Have a doctor's appointment on Wednesday and was wondering if there is any specific way of testing that is more accurate than another. Have had just about enough of this, looking for answers... Thanks.

There is no perfectly accurate test. The best is Dr. Huggings at Hugnet.com, otherwise symtoms give a very good intication. What are your symptoms?

symptoms: depression, no attention span, memory problems, (basic spaciness), excess salivation, inability to handle any kind of stress, it goes on. And has been going on for over twenty years now. There is a history of depression in the family, but this just feels like too much. Would be nice to find a reason and some hope...

Your symptoms are very similar to mine. 50% went away in the first couple of weeks of amalgam removal. If nothing else it would relieve the burden on your body. Root canals and cavitations need to be addressed also.

My symptoms are so bizarre that anyone looking at me as a 32 year-old man would pass me off as a hypochondriac. And they keep varying and going to different areas of my body. I can feel like I'm on the verge of a heart attack for a few days with chest pains, to then suffering reoccurring dizziness in my head and behind my eyes especially, to pressures o the sides and in back of my head and teeth, to pains in my prostate area. Every aspect of my life is being adversely affected.I've been to doctor after doctor after doctor, and next I'm seeing an internest. It is going to cost a fortune to get my almalgams removed, and I only hope I can get some of my life back.
