Saw Neurologist yest regarding massive deterioration in my health/brain capacity [full details in yest post: HELP!! Amalgam Poisoning]following last Friday's removal of a huge amalgam - one of the 16 I have. He is sending me for a blood test for Mercury today. So to add to my original questions, the 7th is: 1 - My tiny med knowledge suggested come kind of binding chelation was first ness in order to 'pull' the Mercury out/visible in bloodstream? Right or wrong? In conclusion, in absence of 'binding agent', does the blood test work/is it an effective marker on it's own or can it give a false negative? 2 - I am now certain that I have acute mercury poisnoning right now (from Friday's mouthful of wet, drilled-up amalgam), and what I have been suffering from and getting worse from over years is chronic mercury posisoning. Does this seem right to your experience? 3- WHAT TREATMENT CAN I ACCESS RIGHT NOW FOR THIS ACUTE POISONING? I CANNOT FUNCTION AND MY BOD/BRAIN NEED HELP! Have had some great advice so far, but am wondering if should start DSMA(??) as well as diet changes? I am really poorly . 4 - Are there any further Neuroligical marker tests I should/can ask for? IE tests of Mercury presence and or tests for it's impact on function/brain? 5 - Who is the best dentist (ANYWHERE but ideally in UK) at removing fillings safely? Ideally one who also has knowledge of the meds protocols too? 6 - Do I need my root canals out? 7 - What meds/vits process should I be on to prepare for/heal from that massive mercury exodus? I am literally begging you for any concise answers you can offer me (any very wordy ones I really will not be able to read as my brain is currently drowned in treacle.) Thank you so very much for your time and help.

"1 - My tiny med knowledge suggested come kind of binding chelation was first ness in order to 'pull' the Mercury out/visible in bloodstream? Right or wrong? The body stores mercury in the brain, liver, kidneys and other organs, and tries to keep the blood levels low. Don't start taking DMSA until all your fillings are out, otherwise the DMSA will cause plenty mercury to be drawn out of your fillings. This might make you much worse. I suggest that you try using Triple Leaf Detox Tea or other detox teas. They might help you. You should also take some antifungals like olive leaf extract, or something like Now Candida Clear. Don't do anything with your root canals unless they have mercury fillings. a good high potency vitamin regimen should help. Read this web page. http://www.flcv.com/cfsfm.html

Licorice root, Triple Leaf Detox Tea, Magnesium Malate,molybdenum(500 mcg to 1 mg a day) and creatine have been very helpful for me in reducing symptoms. Being on a low carb diet and taking antifungals also helps greatly, although the antifungals might make you feel worse in the short term as candida is being destroyed.
Sulphur is needed to detoxify mercury. Some people feel worse when eating high sulphur foods such as eggs, although this might be due to increased detoxification. Selenium is also necessary for detoxification, as is decent amounts of vitamin c(I take 3-4 grams of vitamin c a day of calcium ascorbate(buffered vitamin c with calcium), while some take 10-30 grams or so a day. Imo 3 grams a day is a good amount, and too much vitamin c long term might even lead to kidney stones. In the short term, too much gives diarrhea. Magnesium(especially in the form of magnesium malate) helps reduce muscle ache and muscle twitching. Creatine also helps reduce muscle ache. To help aid cognitive problems, licorice root and acetyl l carnitine are helpful. Licorice root also promotes biles flow which aids detoxification. Eat a high fiber low carb diet that has plenty of healthy fats to promote bile flow and to help prevent bile from being recycled. Make sure you don't become constipated. Most of the mercury is normally excreted through the bile and leaves the body through the bowel. Licorice root also helps prevent constipation( Avoid licorice root if you have high blood pressure).

In conclusion, in absence of 'binding agent', does the blood test work/is it an effective marker on it's own or can it give a false negative? There is no test that works. Stay away from testing. You are just wasting time and money. Focus on the things that really matter. I am now certain that I have acute mercury poisnoning right now (from Friday's mouthful of wet, drilled-up amalgam), and what I have been suffering from and getting worse from over years is chronic mercury posisoning. Does this seem right to your experience? Yes mercury poisoning is extremely likely in your case. No need to do lab testing. WHAT TREATMENT CAN I ACCESS RIGHT NOW FOR THIS ACUTE POISONING? Lots of Vitamin C - 1-3 grams taken 4 times a day. Lots of vitamin E, magnesium and zinc. A Supportive supplementation program for mercury toxic people is described in this book: http://herballure.com/Products/AmalgamIllness_DiagnosisAndTreatment/index.htmlNOW FOR THIS ACUTE POISONING? I CANNOT FUNCTION AND MY BOD/BRAIN NEED HELP! Have had some great advice so far, but am wondering if should start DSMA(??) Only take DMSA if you want to give yourself permanent irreversible neurological damage. The DMSA will pull more mercury from your fillings and tissues and will move it in your brain. DMSA is never taken with fillings in and you have to use it like Dr. Cutler describes in his book. Otherwise it will harm you a lot. - Who is the best dentist (ANYWHERE but ideally in UK) at removing fillings safely? Ideally one who also has knowledge of the meds protocols too? Hesham el-essawy is supposed to be one of the best. There is no dentist and no doctor who has knowledge of the med protocols many will recommend stuff that will damage you even further. You have to do it yourself. The book at www.noamalgam.com describes how you do this. 7 - What meds/vits process should I be on to prepare for/heal from that massive mercury exodus? Large doses of Vitamin C, E, zinc, B complex and omega 3 fatty acids.

Hi guys, big thank you for your time and posts. Much appreciated. Will try get Vit C today and will look up "Algin" too - and yes, will stay away from DSMA as nope, do not want further brain damage...
Book here Tues, am just trying to make it thru to then. Am more grateful for your help than you can know. Thank you, and please, if poss do stay in touch as somehow, I have to make it from here to Tues and then from Tues onwards. And right now, I'm struggling even with the prospect of making it out of the house to get the Vit C. Am too fatigued to even take a shower (guessing you'll either think thats OTT or, if you've been there, you'll totally get it).
Can't get my head round fact this is something that maybe never needed to happen but was 'done' to me.... Only upside (but its a biggie) is IF that is the case and this is mercury poisoning, then it looks like there may be a road out of it. I'm not religous but find myself praying to a God I don't believe in to please just sustain me one more day at a time. Am hangin on for dear life here.

Hi Stoic,
I suggest you might want to try a product called "Algin" by "nature's sunshine", that can apparently help mop/bind up some mercury. Russ sells it on this website, as do other places. It may help you with some of the symptoms, as well as the suggested supplements and diet advice. You can look it up on the web.
Take care! Yep, that or Modifilan, that there is VERY GOOD! Can't say enough just try it! Just try that there! Either that or Russ version with Algin! I feel you will benefit bigtime from either as I have used both. Modifilan is one of a kind though IMO! Very good stuff, start out slow if you go there.
In Sanskrit, tulsi means literally "the incomparable one" and has been revered since ancient times. Tulsi, the holy basil, is said to have grown at the site of Christ’s crucifixion and is associated with St. Basil’s feast.
