Hi. Great website. I plan on getting more involved with this forum when i get more time , and registering, etc.
I am a firm believer in everything about mercury fillings and their removal.
I am also very knowlegeable in this area as I have done a lot of research
Anyway, I am going to a really good dentist right now who is removing my amalgams.
ALL 11 of them!
Not at the same time. This was done over a period of time. I would get three done at a visit. I just recently had three removed from the upper left. I only have three more to go!
My question is concerning the last removal.
First of all, the dentist i am going to seems very, very, VERY good. Every time he removes one, it comes out perfectly shaped and I only have sesitivity for a short while.
Ive had a few new fillings from him for a year and a half and they are still going strong.
When he removes them, he puts a rubber like mask over your mouth to prevent mercury from falling down your throat i guess. It has a hole in it so he can work.
So he seems to be taking precautions. What Im concerned about is when he went to remove the mask, it sort of "snapped" and he suddenly yelled "DONT SWALLOW!". Okay, I didnt swallow. But i could feel chunks of something in the back of my throat. His assistant quickly sucked it up, but Im not a hundred percent sure she got it all. I dont think it was a whole lot, but i may have swallowed a chunk or two. But then again, maybe not. In hindsight, I probably should have sat up and insisted on a mouth wash??
Heres my question:
If i did swallow a chunk of mercury, Will i expel this when i go through detox and chelation? (Which I definitely plan on doing, in fact, i am going through a complete lifestyle change which will include daily essiac tea , garlic, juicing, etc.)
So will chelation and a radical, healthy lifestyle (not a diet, but a real healthy change in eating habits) get rid of the mercury i swallowed? I know it helps expel the body of mercury accumilated over time, but Im wondering if swallowing a chunk responds differently to the above protocols.
Hopefully i didnt swallow any, and i guess i will never know for sure.

I've never studied this exact scenario, but I do know a few people (indirectly) who have ingested whole fillings. In each case (except one) the filling was expelled whole via the digestive system within days. The exception was with the sister of a close friend. In her case the filling got caught right at the rectum and caused a fistula to form and required outpatient surgery. I doubt you have anything to worry about, but you may want to confirm that. Please let me know if you would like to share your journal/experience with us as I have a new website new website devoted to this subject and I want to emass a sizeable collection of testimonials. All the best to you and please let us know how it goes.
