I just read your TouchBase section on your web site and wanted to reply to it.<P>In 1997 I also had all my 16 amalgam fillings out. As far as my detox plan goes - I don't have one, as each has to be individual. My doctor analysed my biochemistry using her electro-acupuncture machine and then gave me the homeopathic remedies necessary to draw out the toxins she found. As far as the mercury was concerned I had two basic types - that inherited from my mother and that acquired in my own lifetime. Each one of these necessitates a different 'strength' of homeopathic remedy. The harder it is to remove the more minute the dosage.<P>There are some homeopathic remedies available through the web that claim to remove mercury from the body. <A HREF="http://www.newtonlabs.net/NaturalRx/AmalgamDetox.htm" TARGET=_blank>www.newtonlabs.net/NaturalRx/AmalgamDetox.htm</A> <A HREF="http://www.mercurytestkits.com/" TARGET=_blank>www.mercurytestkits.com/</A> RemovingMercuryFromTheBody.html<P>However, I am always sceptible of remedies that are supposed to suit everyone. It seems to me that it is necessary to work out what each person needs and detoxify in this manner. The problem is how to find this out. I don't know of any other way than by the electro acupuncture machine my doctor uses that this can be done with accuracy but I am not a doctor and I have not made an exhaustive search of diagnostic methodologies. There may well be other methods out there that work fine. I just haven't ever seen any that are as good. I know there are blood tests and hair tests, etc. but I don't believe these are as good and accurate at locating all problems as that machine in the hands of a well-trained and experienced medical professional.<P>My doctor works in the Netherlands, where I live part of the time. I have tried to find someone in the UK and the US, who also use the electro-acupuncture machine as a diagnostic tool but so far have not been able to locate anyone although I know such people exist in many European countries. I am not so sure about the US.<P>If you like I can ask my doctor if she would mind sending you a piece on the subject. I don't want to give out her name and address without her permission.
