There really isn't a reliable test that I know of unless one's come out in the past few years.

The closest thing I know of is a "DMPS challange." It works but it redistributes the mercury and can be dangerous for that reason. I certainly don't recommend it. Search the net and you'll find a lot of info about it.

The only other test's I'm aware of only detect "blood mercury" levels or past records of it (hair). Blood mercury usually doesn't stay high for long as the body "harbors" it. It's removed from the blood into various tissue quite quickly.

The determination of mercury poisoning is really a prefessional judgement call based on a sequence of tests. These tests and their expected results are outlined in detail in the books I told you about.
