-Genesis and the Character of God -By: Henry Morris III, D.Min.
The message of Genesis is not confusing. The repetitive information throughout the rest of Scripture is consistent. The universe was created by an omnipotent, omniscient, and transcendent Being. The words of Scripture insist that God’s work was recent, complete, and “good.” Our struggle with that message is that everything we observe is tainted by evil and death.

"O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker." (Psalm 95:6)
In the first chapter of Genesis we are told that God was to "make man in our image," and also that He "created man in his own image" (Genesis 1:26-27). Similarly on the seventh day, God "rested from all his work which God created and made" (Genesis 2:3).
God is, therefore, both Creator and Maker of all things, including the image of God in man. These two terms are not synonymous, though they sometimes seem to be used interchangeably. "Creation" is calling into existence entities which previously had no existence. No one except God is ever the subject of the verb "create." The work of making, on the other hand, is that of organizing created entities into complex systems.
It is interesting that God is called "Creator" five times in the Bible, whereas He is called "Maker" sixteen times. God created His image in men and women, but He also made them in that image. That is, He called into existence the spiritual component of man's nature, not shared in any degree by the animals. He also organized the basic material elements into complex human bodies, the most highly organized systems in the universe, and these were made in that image that God Himself would one day assume when He became an incarnate human being. In this way He is both Creator and Maker of His image in each person.
That image has been marred because of sin, but through the work of Christ, we have been "renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created him" (Colossians 3:10), and our bodies will "be fashioned like unto his glorious body" (Philippians 3:21). Created and newly created, made and remade, let us humbly kneel before the Lord our Maker and Creator. HMM

"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." (John 1:14)
This is the definitive verse on the divine incarnation, when "God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself" (2 Corinthians 5:19), and the wealth of truth implied therein is beyond human comprehension. We can never understand how the infinite God could become finite man, but where the intellect fails, faith prevails.
It was the Word who "was God" and by whom "all things were made" (John 1:1, 3), yet He made His own human body, in the womb of Mary, and therein "dwelt among us" for thirty-three years. The Greek word here for "dwelt" is unusual, literally meaning "tabernacled."
How could this be? "Without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory" (1 Timothy 3:16). This is, indeed, a great mystery, "but with God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26).
God made a body for Adam; surely He could also make a perfect body in which He Himself could "tabernacle." He was made "in the likeness of sinful flesh" (Romans 8:3) and "was in all points tempted [i.e., tested] like as we are, yet without sin" (Hebrews 4:15). Since "God cannot be tempted with evil" (James 1:13), and since the Word, who was God, was merely tabernacling in the likeness of sinful flesh, this testing was to demonstrate to man (not to Himself) that He was without sin and therefore able to save sinners. Therefore, John could testify, "We beheld his glory!"
Jesus Christ is, indeed, true man--in fact, He is man as God intended man to be. Yet neither in the womb of Mary, nor on the cross, did He ever cease to be God.

-The True God And Eternal Life -By: Paul G. Humber, M.S.
“And we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life” (I John 5:20).
That the Apostle John is applying the title, “the true God,” to the Lord Jesus Christ is reinforced when we study the teaching about “eternal life” in this small epistle. At the beginning, John wrote that “eternal Life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us” (I John 1:2). Eternal life is personified as a Person, Jesus Christ. He was with the Father and was “manifested” to His disciples on this earth.
Again, in I John 5:11,12, we see that the apostle links “eternal life” with the Second Person of the Trinity. “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” Life is not an entity that exists apart from the Lord Jesus. When someone asks, “How is life treating you?” it is appropriate to answer in terms of Jesus, Life Himself (cf. John 14:6). “He is treating me with great kindness,” is one fitting response.
Of course, the text for the day also links “eternal life” with Jesus, but note that the phrase, “the true God,” is sandwiched between “his Son Jesus Christ” and “eternal life.” If Jesus is the subject before and after, then the phrase, “the true God,” applies to Him as well. It is not saying that the Lord Jesus Christ is a god (diminutive sense), but that He is “the true God” (emphatic sense).
Modern-day cultists set themselves up as experts, pretending to know more about Jesus than the apostles who walked with Him, but John wrote about being “in Him that is true” (first part of today’s text).
The important lesson for us is to connect personally with this true God, Jesus Christ—to be “in” Him. Jesus is not a distant, dead memory, but the One who enlivens even deluded errorists. We enter into communion with Him by faith. PGH

--Conformed To His Image --By: Henry Morris, Ph.D.
“And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly” (I Corinthians 15:49). "So God created man in his own image...male and female created He them" (Genesis 1:27).
-One of the most amazing promises of the word of God is that those who “love God” and are “the called according to His purpose” are those whom “He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son” (Romans 8:28,29).
-Adam and Eve were created in His image physically in the beginning. “So God created man in His own image . . . male and female created He them” (Genesis 1:27). Presumably this means they were created in the physical form that God knew He would assume when, in the fullness of time, He would become man Himself, in the person of His Son, Jesus Christ.
That image was marred when Adam (and, in Adam, all men) sinned. Nevertheless, it can be restored spiritually when we receive Christ and “have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created him” (Colossians 3:10).
But this is not all. As our text reveals, we who have been made in God’s earthly image (both physically and spiritually) will also, in due time, receive His heavenly image. This will take place when Christ returns. At that time, “We shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye . . . and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed” (I Corinthians 15:51,52).
In what way shall we be changed? The Lord Jesus Himself “shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body” (Philippians 3:21). His body, after His resurrection, was still His physical body, but it was no longer subject to pain or death and was able to pass through walls and to speed rapidly from Earth to Heaven. That is “the image of the heavenly” to which we shall be conformed some day soon! For “we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is” (I John 3:2). [Without faith it is impossible to please [Him] God, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." (Hebrews 11:6)]
“Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God.” (Hebrews 6:1)
Many of the grand old hymns of the faith are still treasured even today. Their strength and enduring popularity lie in their use of music to teach scriptural truth, many times weaving in phrases from various scriptural passages to make a doctrinal point.
Such is the case with the hymn (of unknown authorship) normally entitled “How Firm a Foundation.” Each verse contains unusually rich scriptural insights, using the words of Scripture, primarily built around the theme of the security of the believer.
The first verse is quite familiar:
How firm a foundation, ye saints of the Lord, Is laid for your faith in His excellent Word! What more can He say than to you He hath said, To you who for refuge to Jesus have fled?
Each Christian’s pilgrimage begins at salvation. There at the Cross, through the foundational instruction of the Word of God, we find everlasting life. We “have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil” (Hebrews 6:18-19).
Once founded and anchored, we march on to maturity as stated in our text, using the “word of God” (Hebrews 6:5) as our all-sufficient guide. He has told us therein all that we need to know to guide us through the days ahead, including the various perils and persecutions illumined in subsequent verses, all the while resting in Him for security and ultimately realizing the “hope set before us” (Hebrews 6:18). --ICR/HMM [To better appreciate this article, please read Genesis Chapter 1. **COMMITMENT. = God pledged that He would make Abraham into a great nation. He asked the future patriarch to demonstrate his allegiance by obeying the command to leave home for an unknown land. The Lord's commitment to us is clear. He rescued us from sin through His Son Jesus, sent the Holy Spirit to live within us, and promised us eternal life. Our pledge is obedience in both inner attitude and outward actions.
**CLEAR COMMUNICATION. To develop an intimate bond, two people will express deep thoughts and feelings, and they'll also listen carefully to one another's words. God speaks to us through Scripture about Himself and His plans, and He also stands ready to listen (Psalm 10:17). The time we spend praying and meditating on His Word reveals our commitment to communication, which includes listening, speaking, and understanding.

“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” ---(Genesis 1:28)
--There are many Bible passages that speak of animals, but none of them ever speak of any animal having the image or likeness of God. On the other hand, there are many references that insist that God intended for man to “take over” God’s creation and function as the steward of Earth in God’s place.
Please notice the authority. Man was to “have dominion” over all other life, to “fill” Earth, and “subdue” the planet. All authority is delegated authority—God the Creator is still the Owner. If we are to understand the uniqueness of human life, we must first grasp the significance of this authority.
--"For thou hast made [man] a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. (Psalm 8:5-8)"
God’s authority is the basis for action (Matthew 28:18-19; Daniel 7:14). His Word is still the source of ultimate truth (John 14:6; 17:17). His steward (man) is still responsible to the Creator (Isaiah 45:18-22). As we “uncover” the processes of Earth, we are to exercise the delegated authority to “rule” so that we can “fill” the planet that the Creator has designed—“to the praise of the glory of his grace” (Ephesians 1:6).---ICR/HMM III-"Creation Calls" / Brian Doerksen~ <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-kVMcvMWcg>

---GRACE from the ARK and the FLOOD~~ --BY BRIAN THOMAS, M.S./ICR -(*References at bottom) --[BACK TO GENESIS/ (1/5/2019]
--How strange that we decorate children’s play areas with Noah’s Ark themes. While we paint cute animals on church walls, the real Flood event was horrific. “And all flesh died that moved on the earth.”1 Peter wrote, “The world that then existed perished, being flooded with water.”2 Scenes of such carnage would terrify toddlers.
-- The Flood was God’s judgment on a wicked world. It might seem a drastic action for a loving God to take, but much good came from it. It’s like having surgery. Nobody enjoys their body getting sliced and stitched, but a skillful operation can restore health and extend life. Let’s count some of the many graces that Earth’s ancient watery surgery extends to us.
We drive or ride to work, school, here and there. What fuels trains, planes, buses, and cars? Petroleum products, of course. And all that oil and gas came from Noah’s Flood. It buried massive amounts of algae beneath and within sediment layers. Algae bodies degraded under heat and pressure to form most oil and gas. So, every time we fill up the tank, we have God’s judgment to thank.
The same goes for coal. Pure coal deposits don’t form today. It took the Flood to dismember, sort, and bury whole forests across thousands of square miles, where the same heat and pressure that produced oil also darkened and compressed the plant material. Coal-burning power plants help make our electric gizmos go. So, we should thank God for His grace through judgment whenever we turn on the lights.
-- Next, everyone thrills at the sight of a rainbow. God placed it there to remind us He will never completely flood Earth again.3 He has kept that promise for over 4,000 years! Dramatic landscapes offer another grace from Noah’s Flood. Hordes flock to picturesque parks like Zion Canyon. What do we see when we visit? Water-laid sediments and striking valleys, both from Noah’s Flood.
In the Flood, God cleansed the world of violent creatures. Flood fossils show that flying reptiles and birds had teeth and claws; dinosaurs had teeth, claws, and giant jaws; and even mammalian monsters could have mangled mankind. By God’s grace, He reduced these threats so today we enjoy a calmer planet.
The Flood introduced mountain ranges and oceans between places where people live. These buffer the spread of evil. When one nation gets so bad that it deserves destruction, the human race can thrive in another place all by God’s grace through the Flood.
God’s graces extend from Noah’s Ark, too. Americans (adults), keep more dogs and cats than children nowadays. The Ark kept them from going extinct! Two dogs and two cats went inside with eight people. Now we can enjoy pets. Have you ever savored an apple or bread made from grains? God was thinking of you when He commanded Noah, “And you shall take for yourself of all food that is eaten, and you shall gather it to yourself; and it shall be food for you and for them.”4
--- Finally, the Ark points to the Savior, Jesus. Just as the eight people escaped judgment by entering the Ark bodily, we can escape future judgment by entering (trusting) the Lord Jesus spiritually. He is God the Son as well as Eve’s promised Seed.5 Jesus descended from Shem, whom God preserved on Noah’s Ark.6 As a result, “this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God” for us, through the Flood, by His grace.7

---GRAND CANYON CARVED By FLOOD RUNOFF --(11-30-2018)
Grand Canyon Carved by Flood Runoff BY TIM CLAREY, PH.D. * <ICR.org>
Secular science has long struggled to explain the timing and origin of Grand Canyon. The majority of secular scientists assumes it was carved by a large river in less than six million years.1 Why did it form where it did? In particular, how did the river “hurdle” the massive Kaibab uplift?
One of the issues secular scientists struggle to explain is how the water passing through the canyon could have possibly become connected from one side of the Kaibab uplift to the other. The uplift has warped an arch of rock about 3,000 feet above the surrounding terrain,1 and Grand Canyon currently cuts right through it.
To explain the dilemma of an incised river2 that seemingly had to flow uphill, some secular scientists claim that Grand Canyon was carved by stream piracy, a unique process involving headward erosion.1 This in itself is very tricky because it requires two streams flowing in opposite directions to meet at the exact same point and then somehow erode away enough for one stream to take over the other—thus the piracy. But this explanation doesn’t solve the problem: There is still a major drainage divide between the two rivers, even if the headwaters did touch at some time in the past. It doesn’t remove the uplift problem. Water would still flow in opposite directions away from the divide as it does all along the Continental Divide today.
Other secular scientists claim there were caves that may have allowed the streams on either side of the uplift to initially connect underground.1 They suggest these caves later collapsed and the canyon had a ready-made path through the uplift. But this is problematic because the layer of limestone the caves could have formed in was also warped up about 1,500 feet by the Kaibab uplift, causing the water to still have to somehow flow uphill. In addition, the carbonate layer, like the Redwall Limestone that contains caves today, is not thick enough to collapse and remove the total amount of topographic relief. The Redwall is about 600 feet thick, and even if the entire unit had been a cave, it wouldn’t remove the remaining 900 feet of relief caused by the Kaibab uplift. The streams on either side would still flow away from each other.
Secular science is left without an adequate explanation for how Grand Canyon developed through a major uplift. The river should have flowed around it, but it didn’t. Fictional lakes that some creation geologists propose emptied in a catastrophic manner to carve Grand Canyon but are based on little if any geological evidence. Creation scientists have also disagreed on the timing and origin of Grand Canyon, but we generally all agree it happened within the last 4,500 years. One of the most popular ideas is the breached-dam hypothesis advocated by Drs. Walt Brown3 and Steve Austin.4 Both support a post-Flood formation of Grand Canyon caused by the sudden breaching of two presumed dammed lakes, Hopi Lake and Grand Lake (alternatively called Canyonlands Lake). Both scientists believe these lakes formed a few hundred years after the Flood, placing their development during the Ice Age or shortly thereafter. The lakes are claimed to have held over 3,000 cubic miles of water, roughly equivalent to three times the volume in Lake Michigan.1 The explanation for the breach varies, but advocates for this hypothesis claim a catastrophic release of this dammed water carved Grand Canyon.
Let’s examine the evidence for these massive lakes that presumably built up over a few hundred years after the Flood. Helble and Hill point out that there is virtually no evidence for Grand Lake, supposedly the bigger of the two.1 And the evidence for the southern and smaller lake, Hopi Lake, is also weak. So right away, the largest body of water can be eliminated from a scientific point of view. Merely drawing in a vast lake based on today’s topography, without strong evidence to back it, is speculation, not science.
Neither of these “lakes” has any mapped lake-cut terraces or strand lines as are common surrounding Lake Bonneville, the Ice Age lake that has since evaporated to form present-day Great Salt Lake. Also, many other Ice Age lakes show evidence of temporal strand lines or wave-cut terraces, including areas along the shores of the northern lower peninsula of Michigan.
Admittedly, the presumed Hopi Lake does contain a sedimentary unit known as the Bidahochi Formation, claimed by secular geologists to represent a lake environment. However, this formation has been dated by secular geologists as between six and 16 million years old, based on igneous intrusions that cut across the unit.1 Although I disagree with this date and the dating methods used, these dates imply an age older than the Ice Age, which precludes this unit as a post-Flood source of water for the breached-dam hypothesis. Additionally, Helble and Hill point out that recent research shows the Bidahochi Formation is composed of several smaller lakes that likely were not well-connected.1 So, the evidence for any major lakes that formed after the Flood to carve Grand Canyon is weak at best. The Colorado Plateau showing Grand Canyon in the lower left, draining to the southwest. Image credit: Pederson, J. L., R. D. Mackley, and J. L. Eddleman. 2002. Colorado Plateau uplift and erosion evaluated using GIS. GSA Today. Used in accordance with federal copyright (fair use doctrine) law. Usage by ICR does not imply endorsement of copyright holder.
In the mid-1990s, Steve Austin advocated for the breached-dam hypothesis because at the time he accepted a Flood/post-Flood boundary near the top of the Cretaceous System (K-Pg).4 His choice of that Flood boundary left few other options. He had to somehow come up with a massive source of water since he believed the Flood runoff phase was over before Grand Canyon was carved. Picking the wrong Flood/post-Flood boundary can clearly affect other interpretations even when the data tell us otherwise. This is why it’s so important to pick a post-Flood boundary based on as much data as possible.6
If there were no post-Flood lakes, how can we explain Grand Canyon in a Flood model? I think the best solution is the one Mike Oard presented in his book on Grand Canyon.5 Oard suggests Grand Canyon formed during the latter part of the runoff phase of the Flood. This would coincide with the latter part of the Tejas Megasequence.
After catastrophic plate motion ceased late in the Flood year, and even before, the thickened areas of continental crust would have begun to rise due to isostatic adjustment. In other words, the land rose to reach a balance due to the thickened crust that formed during subduction. This process caused the Four Corners region and the Colorado Plateau to rise about 5,000 feet late in the Tejas Megasequence (Neogene).7 Grand Canyon is on the western edge of that uplift. Oard suggests the floodwaters receding in this area may have initially drained to the east during a sort of sheet-wash phase.5 This easterly direction of transport deposited the Whopper Sand in the Gulf of Mexico during the earliest part of the Tejas.8 Later, as the Colorado Plateau rose, the water-flow reversed direction, diverting the drainage to the west and carving Grand Canyon toward the end of the Tejas. He called this latter draining the channelization phase of the runoff.5 Colorado River in Grand Canyon
If you uplift packed, wet sand, it will crack. Similarly, if you pack wet sand on your legs at the beach and then move your legs, the sand cracks. Water follows the easiest path. Water would naturally follow the cracks and fractures in the freshly deposited sediments of the uplifted Colorado Plateau. Some of it would have undoubtedly run through the fractures in the Kaibab uplift, creating a possible path through the uplifted and stacked sediment. And since water at the surface flows downhill, the water draining off the Colorado Plateau would flow westerly toward the Pacific Ocean. Rapid uplift, cracking, and surface drainage of receding floodwaters provide both the path and the necessary volume of water to quickly carve out Grand Canyon. This was all accomplished before the Ice Age during the receding phase of the Flood and not during or after the Ice Age.3,4
One of ICR’s volunteers asked why the receding floodwater didn’t form more “Grand Canyons.” Why is there is just one? The answer has to do with the right combination of events that make Grand Canyon unique. First, Grand Canyon needed a major uplift to erode down through. This was provided by the late-Flood isostatic rise of the Colorado Plateau, causing the entire Four Corners region to move upward about 5,000 feet. Second, fractures and fissures were needed to channelize the runoff water along the western edge of the Colorado Plateau, directing the path of the water and rapidly carving a canyon 5,000 feet deep. Third, there had to be a sufficient volume of water left in the receding phase to carve a major canyon. Fourth, all of these events had to coincide at just the right moment. Without the massive uplift, timed perfectly with the channelization phase of the receding floodwater, there would have been no Grand Canyon.
Other large canyons formed in the United States during the receding phase, such as Texas’ Palo Duro Canyon, but it’s not very deep in comparison to Grand Canyon. Palo Duro Canyon formed from channelized runoff water that flowed eastward away from the uplifted Rocky Mountains late in the Flood. However, the Texas Panhandle region did not experience as much uplift as the Colorado Plateau. Palo Duro Canyon, although the second-largest canyon in the U.S., is only about 700 feet deep at its maximum.9

All of these major canyons we see today are reminders of the immense power of the Flood’s waters. Even their recession left the fingerprints of “grand” canyons as a witness to God’s global judgment by water as recorded in the book of Genesis. --(Please go to the link mentioned at beginning to get the entire article from The Institute for Creation Research Thank you. -"[Eve] said, "With the help of the LORD I have brought forth a man." -(Genesis 4:1)--
---THOMAS EDISON invented the first practical electric light bulb. Jonas Salk developed an effective polio vaccine. Amy Carmichael penned many of the hymns we sing in worship. But what about you? Why were you put on earth? How will you invest your life?
Genesis 4 tells us that Eve "became pregnant and gave birth to Cain." after holding Cain for the first time, Eve announced, "With the help of the LORD I have brought forth a man" (V.1). In an effort to explain the surprising experience of the very first birth, Eve uses a phrase dripping with dependency on the sovereign aid of God: "With the help of the LORD." Eventually, through Eve's seed, God would provide rescue for His people through another Son (John 3:16). "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son [Jesus], that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." What a legacy!
Parenthood is just one of many ways people make lasting contributions to this world. It may be the work you leave behind or your reputation for integrity in business. In any case, will your words echo Eve's dependency on Jehovah G-D? With the help of the Lord, what will you do for His honor? Let's allow the "voice of the Holy Spirit", to speak the Word, and open the way for Him, to draw others to Himself. ~~
~~"I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you. The whole land of Canaan, where you now reside as a foreigner, I will give as an everlasting possession to you and your descendants after you; and I will be their God." ---(Genesis 17:7-8) --
~~God is a covenant-keeping God. In 1948, on a tiny sliver of land at the end of the Mediterranean, the United Nations gave credibility to the rebirth of the nation of Israel. Jewish people began to come from all over the globe, and today there are more than six million Jews living in the land--over 43% of the world's Jewish population. They are surrounded by millions of people who are committed to their annihilation, and it's impossible that they could survive apart from Almight God. It's a testimony to the whole earth that God is a covenant-keeping God. If He'll keep His promise to the descendants of Abraham, He will keep his promises to you and to me. Let's be sure to thank Him and praise Him, for Who He is, and what He continues to do for us. ~~JESUS IS LORD!
--"Heavenly Father, what a privilege it is to see You honor Your covenant with the descendants of Abraham and restore them to their land. You are faithful to keep Your promises, Lord. Thank You that I can trust in Your promises for my life as well. Thank You, Father for Your faithfulness. In Jesus' name.~ amen"

--'His brothers then came and threw themselves down before him. "We are your slaves," they said. But Joseph said to them, Don't be afraid. Am I in the place of God? You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. So then, don't be afraid. I will provide for you and your children." And he reassured them and spoke kindly to them.' ---(Genesis 50:18-21) --
~~The purposes of God can bring significance to the challenges you face in life. Joseph's father, Jacob, was one of the Patriarchs--a heavy-hitter in God's story. But there was some major dysfunction in his family. Jacob played favorites with his children, and Joseph's jealous brothers sold him into slavery. Through God's providence, Joseph became the pharaoh's right-hand man and eventually saved his brothers and their families from starvation during a famine. Joseph faced a lot of challenges but he was always determined to honor his God.
Jehovah YHWH, YAHWEH = (our covenant-keeping G-D), does not look on sin lightly. He is holy, righteous and just. We will always reap what we sow. If we are going about our daily tasks and facing our challenges with an attitude of, "O God, I choose You. I want to honor You. I want to cooperate with You,...but there is just one area in life I can not give up at this time." He will send the Holy Spirit with conviction upon you. We must get right with Him now. ~~
-"Heavenly Father, I choose You. I choose to honor and cooperate with You. I pray that Your Kingdom purposes would be accomplished in my days in earth. Give me perseverance to keep my eyes on You when I face the challenges of life. In the midst of my circumstances, give me a revelation of Jesus that will bring meaning, honor and a pathway toward freedom. May I always bring honor to You. Help me, Lord Jesus, to do what is right in Your eyes. amen~"
