This mercury toxicty thing is all new to me but ever so real. I read Russ's ordeal and if I didn't know any better I woud have sworn it was me. The only difference is I have seizures and after extensie research I strongly believe mercury is the cause.<P>Because of my seizures, Neurologist have put me on so many meds and tried in vain to do brain surgery. I am still just as sick. Only after someone answered my message board did I really believe mercury may be the culprit. <P>I am from Chicago and have just started day 2 of a week of these nutrients the Dentist gave me to take before actual removal. I am scared to death. My whole life is on whole. I am now on Medicare which doesn't provide dental coverage and have used up most of my savings. <P>Someone help me here. Do you think all of this including he seizures can be reversed if the mercury is taken out? The Dentist is one the pioneers, Dr. Sukel of Huntley, IL.<BR>My mother has a mouth full of mercuy herself.<BR>Now that I read on this, I am sure a lot of her behavior is due to this as well as one of my brothers who uses drugs.<P>My brain is so messed up from the mercury and seizures. The side effects from all of the seizure meds (8) are a killer. I weaned myself off of 7 but can't get off the last one.The mercury is too strong for that.<P>What advice and perhaps encouragement can you give me? There is a very nice lady in NJ who is are few steps ahead with mercury poisoning herself. <P>I am at < luvsonginc@aol.com > I had to put my career as a recording artist on hold. I did have a positive metal toxicity test and that is what eventually lead up to finding out about this "Mercury Madness" I have had for over 15 years. I thought I was going crazy from the Drs. and all of the meds they put me on. But my higher power kept telling different. Hi Pete,
You're not alone, I feel like you're my twin, as I've unkowingly struggled for a similar period of time with mercury, and I became a real basket case of auto-immune malfunctions that no one could explain, it was quite a goosechase, but I'm confident it's drawing near a conclusion. see my saga below.

I'm also a musician/producer from the Chicago area and look forward to hearing your song when you recover. This whole nightmare has been a great source of inspiration for my music as well, and for me music is the most theraputic way to express my frustration with the way things have turned out.
