Hi Everyone, my name is Diane, I was on this site yrs ago detoxing from Hg fillings (LOVE THIS SITE) and now I'm trying to decide on which candida protocol to go with. Been suffering forever with candida. Too many yrs of antibiotics and sugar ladden diets! So I found this guy online known as the "Modern Herbalist" and his candida protocol is $369 for the supps for the first 8 weeks. Then the next 10 weeks the supps are 2 hundred something forgot exactly. I talked with him on the phone for awhile for free. His products include:

He says NO to : lentils, beans,fruits, and all meats UNLESS they are orgainic or grass fed with no hormones. This is difficult, how important is the meat part? I'm a high protein lady, I love meat, its hard and expensive to get the organic stuff. He said YES to: Butter, goat cheese (as long as its soft, not aged), vegetable glycerine, xylitol, stevia, green tea buckwheat, and highly recom'd Yerba Mate Tea (organic of course).
Now I'm confused because so many peeps say NO caffeine at all, some say some fruit, granny smith apples or berries are ok, some say no art sweeteners, incl stevia cuz it fakes our body out thinking its sugar, Whats the RIGHT way to do it? Would YOU, (experts) spend this $ and do this program or go with what products on my own? Do I have to cleanse first, or fast, juice, ? Do I use probiotice the whole time or after a few weeks? And does THREELAC really work? I've taken it before but honestly dont know if it works or not. Also is it OK to use heavy cream and/or cream cheese? some say its OK, (my former chiro) I dont want to dump a bunch of money down the drain. Please HELP if you have any wisdom or insight! I remember reading this a few days ago, and thought I had replied. DUH??? Sorry......Regarding the Candida Problem...

I have been using YEAST/FUNGAL DETOX which I purchase right here, from Laura and Russ (Nature's Sunshine). I used to suffer for several years with PMS, you may have read that forum. WHOA! Talk about battling with Candida! Anyway, I would recommend giving this Y/FD a try. It's really helped me with the poor diet and low immune system, to fight off the Candida.

I hope you get well real soon. I scanned back and saw where you posted a while back about 'LOUD NOISES', or hearing sensitivity. Now that is just aweful. I have Hyperacusis, which is also posted on here, in case you want to read about what that is, and how it effects our lives.
