Dear Friends,

The month of February is filled with constant reminders of Valentine's Day and interactions with our loved ones. As parents we do anything and everything for our children and often times we forget about ourselves. It's important to remember to love and care for ourselves so we can have more for others. So after the hoopla of Valentine's Day, school parties and card boxes are over take some time for yourself to relax, even if it's just 15 minutes.

Over the weekend Generation Rescue exhibited at the Gluten & Allergen Free Expo in San Francisco, California. More than 2,000 attendees came out to experience the tastes of brands like our personal favorites; Udi's, Better Batter and So Delicious. Many stories were shared with me at the conference about how autism is a part of a company's corporate social responsibility. Better Batter is one such story and the launch of their new chocolate mint energy bar was created in honor of the owner's son Zion to raise awareness for autism. Check out the bars here.

Several of our recent grant families volunteered at our booth and encouraged the many families seeking autism resources to apply for a Rescue Family grant. One volunteer, Jodi Daniel, who shared her and Xavier's experience with attendees was featured in this week's San Francisco Bay View.  Please share their story today so others can reach more families. Apply for a grant today.

Our 2013 partnership with the Gluten & Allergen Free Expo is bringing autism treatment information to attendees across the United States. Be sure to come see us at a location near you. It's a great way to taste test new products, meet others in your local community that are like-minded and get great manufacturer coupons for your shopping list. Join me, April 5th & 6th in
Des
Moines, Iowa.

Happy Relationship Month to you, your family and loved ones.

Sincerely,
Candace McDonald
