Hello, I was a member that came here a couple of months ago looking for answers, some of you know.

About a month ago I started to take dmsa, ala, algin, gluthatione, heavy metal detox, and some vitamins for about two weeks. I wanted to see if I had some reaction, so since I still had and have my amalgams I knew I should not keep the treatment for long. So I did it for about two weeks and I didn't feel well but didn't notice much of a reaction.

Then about two weeks after I stopped I started to feel a little more motivated but also got these terrible leg cramps, specially at night. They where more like a restless legs syndrome type of cramp, and I remember I had them when I was a little kid but I didn't get them since a lot of years and they where also different, much worse. I could not sleep for around four days, I only had to get the legs flat on the bed to start getting that terrible pain and jerkings. One day I tried to resist it for a while and the skin turned very red, so I am thinking maybe its either related to some allergic reaction or it has to do with circulation, or maybe both.

Also they got worse the days I did walking and running exercises.

In addition to this, and somewhat opposite, I started to also feel overall better, more energy, better memory, clearer thoughts and speech, so I was impressed, never before since I started to feel really bad had I gotten such improvements.

However about a week or so later, which was a few days back, I now am feeling bad again overall, the leg cramps have gone down but the other improvements went too. So maybe it seems obvious or maybe not, but I wonder if it could really have been the treatment, and I guess more importantly why am I back again to how I was? I am very excited in a way since now I want to get the fillings out and start the treatment again, but also I would like some explanations.

I can tell you from my own experience, (I still have amalgams, (other health issues prevent my extracting now), the ALA should NEVER be taken with amalgams still in your mouth. I was really dizzy and nauseous after taking that for about 4 days. It DOES NOT MIX with Mercury toxicity.

The DMSA is non-toxic. I know this because I take at least 2 / 100mg capsules every day. Which has become harder to get. There is a post showing it's availability now. This DMSA and the ALGIN have literally been a life-saver for me. My mentality is much more clear. My stamina is better. Yes, a good multi-vitamin is great.

The ALGIN, I get right here from Russ' website. You can go to the homepage and click on products. Or ask Russ, he's usually in the 'who's online' box to the right of this message. (in red) I see him there now. He may answer later, as he does take care of other websites, etc. But you can leave him a private message, if necessary.

Please, do try to get those mercury amalgams out as soon as you can. AND make sure it is done by a specialist in removing amalgams. Mercury is highly toxic!

OK, I think I've given you enough for now. Potassium capsules work well for leg cramps. And the mercury may be attributing to having this.You might go online and find what other natural supplements work for that area. Take care. Do let us hear how you are doing. Hello 'i dont get it',
I have gone on the internet and there are several articles and supplements for Restless Leg Syndrome. I will add one WWW site here. Remember, this is a company I have never used, however, I DO KNOW that when I purchased the IRON (ferrous gluconate, amino acid chelate 25mg. each //180 tablets) from this website, (Russ Tanner's page = scroll back to products page), did I FINALLY get some relieve from the muscle aches in my legs, and my feet would go numb (tingly) . ALSO, keep in mind (you told me in PM, that you have doubled your multi-vitamin)..., there is a such thing as taking too much of any particular ingredients.

So, it's worth a try. You may just need the iron? I do not believe that the DMSA rids the body of minerals, taken as directed. Regardless I do take a good Multi-Vitamin. Thanks, I appreciate your effort. I found that centrum did the trick so far, it seems I got too much minerals not replaced. I thought it was a neurotoxic effect from metabolism disruption but still I am not 100% sure.

Yes, there is such a thing as taking TOO MUCH of any certain minerals, vitamins, and irons. It's been advised for men 'being cautious' of iron toxicity. Not to mention the FDA is really watching the Vitamin/Supplement/ Herbals,-All Natural Companies,....perhaps you know by now, they have made DMSA very hard to find. Now, I get it from Amazon.com.
There are a few different combination of things that have helped others. Apple Pectin being another, modified citrus pectin, and always I find **ALGIN** (non-toxic) encourages normal elimation/absorbs Heavy Metal Ions. I know of others that take the ALGIN, and it's always a winner here and in other countries.

As I was Medically informed, "We all know our own bodies, and what helps or harms." So just beware. Maybe do your own research on possibility of 'mineral toxicity', 'mercury toxicity', etc.

We have a forum titled 'Flouride' (flourosilic acid) a little bit lower down in this forum, topic.

I use Deer Park 100% Natural Spring Water
and LeBleu / Ultra Pure Water (steam distilled). Both of which are all natural, purity by nature. Purchased in our local supermarket. And yes, they are in a clear plastic(?) container. Thank you.
