Well, yesterday I received the DMPS challenge test at my doctor's office. I was very concerned about getting this test since Andrew Cutler advises against it. However, both my doctor and dentist highly recommended it. My doctor has been performing these tests for over 10 years, and assured me that problems only arise when practitioners administer too much for the patient's body. I did not experience any negative effects. Actually, my mental clarity was more acute afterwards. I will receive my results from the test next Friday. If my results are positive (which I expect them to be), I will begin having all of my fillings removed. The cost my dentist quoted me was very reasonable. $250 for each small filling (I have three of these), and $1000 for each large filling (I have only one). I had two fillings replaced today. I felt better after the procedure. I had more energy, and my breathing was slightly improved. I am taking "Pleo-Chelate", a homeopathic chelating agent for heavy metals. After I did the DMPS challenge, I tested high for Mercury, Aluminum, and Lead.

I will be getting the remaining fillings out in three weeks. I am hoping that I will feel better as I remove more metal toxins from my body.

Pleo-Chelate is a homeopathic chelating agent. My physician used Acupuncture Meridian Assessment to determine what chelating agent to give me.

Each day since the removal of my first two amalgam fillings, I have been progressively feeling better. My boyfriend and I played football yesterday, and I felt really energetic and had a great time. Prior to my removal, my health seemed to be going downhill. I was lethargic and having problems breathing. Also, I had upper back and neck pains along with mild anxiety. I went to my primary care physician, and he could not find anything wrong with me; so, he prescribed me medication for depression and anxiety. This experience has opened my eyes to the real dangers that affect health. Genetics plays a role, but the environment sets the stage as to whether or not the "faulty" genes will actually elucidate disease. I developed pneumonia and hypothyroidism as a child, all shortly after having mercury placed in my mouth. I use to think that I would never have lived the life I have if modern medicine had not diagnosed and monitored these conditions I had developed.........Now, I know that it is modern medicine that set the stage for these conditions to develop within me. I plan on doing what I can to help others wake up to this tragedy.

Thanks for the information Patty - I'll do a google and see what I can find. I vist with my homeopath tommorrow, so I will ask her about it. She currently has me on DMSA (200 mg every four days).

Congratulations on your health improvements! I hope you continue to recover at a steady pace. I had my first quadrant removed of amalgams and a big gold crown this week and have an appointment to purge a 2nd quadrant on monday. I have to say though, since I had them removed, I have felt simply exhausted - unfortunately so far, I feel worse than before. Slept 10 hours last night and still had to take a nap today. Hopefully things will turn around.

How is your white blood count?

what's the difference between dmsa and dmps? my homeopathic doc gave me dmps today and said to take it just before i have a tooth removed this week.
