----Delight in the Law / =Old Testament (Given to Moses by God) [Understanding what Jesus meant when He said, *"Think not that I came to destroy the Law..."
“But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.” (Psalm 1:2)
-Most Christians feel that God’s law is harsh and burdensome, and they rejoice that God’s grace has set them free from the law. The fact is, however, that the law should be a joy and delight to anyone who really loves the Lord. Even Paul, the great apostle of grace, said: “For I delight in the law of God after the inward man” (Romans 7:22). “The law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good” (Romans 7:12). David testified that “The law of the LORD is perfect, converting [or ‘restoring’] the soul” (Psalm 19:7).
The majestic 119th Psalm contains no less than 25 specific testimonies to the benefits of the law. For example: “Blessed [i.e., ‘happy’] are [those] who walk in the law of the LORD” (v. 1). “Great peace have they which love thy law” (v. 165). “Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law” (v. 18). “Thy law is my delight” (v. 77).
That God’s law was not set aside when Christ came is evident from the first mention of the law in the New Testament: Jesus said,** “Think not that I am come to destroy the law. . . . Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled” (Matthew 5:17-18). That the law was not for Jews only is suggested in its first mention in the Old Testament: “One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you” (Exodus 12:49).
The law cannot save, of course: “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all” (James 2:10). But “Christ . . . redeemed us from the curse of the law” (Galatians 3:13) when He died for our sins. His law (which now includes the entire Bible) is no more a burden but a delight—restoring the soul and bringing true success and great peace to those who love it. --ICR/ HMM = / BLESSED ARE YOU~~ Paul Wilbur <http://youtu.be/K7QRPRbfAYM>

--DELIGHT IN THE LAW / FREE FROM THE LAW (Which is it?)
--FREE FROM THE LAW --By: John D. Morris, Ph.D. ---Evidence for Creation
“By the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in His sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:20,23).
Among the most precious doctrines in all of the Bible is that “no man is justified by the law in the sight of God . . . [Yet] Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law” (Galatians 3:11,13).
Freed from the Law, now we are totally freed from the sin, when Jesus (Mercy) walked in! The law served a necessary function. As we see in our text, its unreachable standard fully exposed our sinfulness and need for a Savior, Christ Jesus, “in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace” (Ephesians 1:7).
God’s holiness allows no sin in His presence, but “God commendeth His love for us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). Once accomplished, this undeserved death could be applied to the deserved penalty of sinners. “God hath set forth (Christ’s death) to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of (our) sins” (Romans 3:25).
Under the law we were cursed, for “cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them” (Galatians 3:10). Only when dressed in His righteousness can we be admitted into His presence.
Best of all, this work of Christ on our behalf is permanent. Neither we nor He need be punished again. “We are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all” (Hebrews 10:10). When we give our lives to Christ, His Mercy walks in! -Firstly, the teaching of Evolution is not of the Lord Jesus Christ. We did not evolve. He 'created' us and all things. (Read Colossians 1:15-20/ The Supremacy of Christ)
--Christians are not under the Law of any man or religion. We are made righteous through the precious blood of Jesus, when He died on that old Rugged Cross. --So, some ask, 'What does it mean that Christians are not under the law? Jesus carries us through it all, (this world), as we trust in Him and lean only on Him as our Creator, Lord, Savior, and soon coming King of kings! Hold on, believers, Jesus is coming soon. (Remember He is outside of our time. He may be waiting for one more, or hundreds more of people to be saved, through Him. Keep on spreading God's Word. He can not lie!) ----------- Question: "What does it mean that Christians are not under the law?"
-Answer: An exposition of Romans 10:4, which says: "Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes," will help in understanding what is means that Christians are not under the law. The apostle Paul clarifies the effects of original sin in Romans 2:12, stating "All who sin apart from the law will perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law." All men stand condemned before God, whether they are Jews or not, or to put it another way, whether they have the Law of God or not. Paul also states "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
If we are without Christ, we are justly condemned in God’s sight by the Law that was given to His servant Moses. However, we might argue that those who are not Jewish and therefore do not benefit from the knowledge of the Mosaic Law (including the moral and ceremonial laws), should not be condemned in the same way. This is dealt with by the Apostle in Romans 2:14-15, where he states that the Gentiles have the essence of God’s legal requirements already ingrained and so are just as much without excuse.
The Law is the issue that has to be dealt with in order to bring us into a right relationship with God. "Know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified" (Galatians 2:16). This passage reveals that the Law cannot justify or make righteous any man in God’s sight, which is why God sent His Son to completely fulfil the requirements of the Law for all those who would ever believe in Him.
Christ Jesus redeemed us from the curse that has been brought through the law by becoming a curse for us (Galatians 3:13). He substituted Himself in our place and upon the cross took the punishment that is justly ours so that we are no longer under the curse of the Law. In doing so, He fulfilled and upheld the requirements of the Law. This does not mean that Christians are to be lawless, as some advocate today—a teaching called antinomianism. Rather, it means that we are free from the Mosaic Law and instead under the law of Christ, which is to love God with all of our being and to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.
Christ became the end of the Law by virtue of what He did on earth through His sinless life and His sacrifice on the Cross . So, the Law no longer has any bearing over us because its demands have been fully met in the Lord Jesus Christ. Faith in Christ who satisfied the righteous demands of the Law restores us into a pleasing relationship with God and keeps us there. No longer under the penalty of the Law, we now live under the 'law of grace in the love of God.'We can only live through it all by loving, and leaning on Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. <http://youtu.be/KVwxRHBVLGY> --------

-----SOVEREIGN~~ ------ --Our God, Jehovah Yahweh, YHWH= Our loving, Covenant-keeping God, is always with us. He is SOVEREIGN. He is Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent. He is independent of all others, excellent. Jehovah Elohim, the God above all gods, El-Shaddai, the almighty God, and Jehovah Shalom, our God of peace. Jehovah Shamma, our God who is present. He is with you right now. "Call upon the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved."
"And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. We love Him because He first loved us." --(1 John 4:16,19)
--God Sees Both the End and the Beginning~~
--“For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestine to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.” --- (Romans 8:29)
--'God’s wisdom is supreme. Now, we know after the fact, but God knows before the fact. The word “foreknow” is from the Greek word 'proginosko'. God’s foreknowledge can best be illustrated like the viewing of a parade.
If you watch a parade from the ground level, you will see the floats as they come past one at a time. But suppose you could go up in a 30-story building and look down upon the parade? Then, you would not only see the float directly in front, but quite possibly the first and last float. You now have a different vantage point.
We live in history. We see events as they come by one at a time. But God dwells in eternity. And He sees the beginning, the end, and everything in between. And God knows everything.~~ SOVEREIGN ONE = Jesus Christ <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52SZo0QADSQ> -------------
