“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. ---(Revelation 20:15)
--Some people may not believe in hell, but God makes it clear that all “the fearful, the unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone” (Revelation 21:8).
Actually, Jesus Christ said more about hell than anyone else in the Bible. To the unsaved, He will say: “Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels” (Matthew 25:41).
The lake of fire is not here on the earth. The beast and the false prophet are to be cast into the lake of fire before the binding of Satan for a thousand years; then the present earth itself is to be removed, and finally Satan will be “cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever” (Revelation 20:10; see also 19:20; 20:2, 7, 10-11). Thus the lake of fire is in existence both before and after the removal of the present earth, and will continue to exist forever.
Many argue that the lake of fire is symbolic and should not be taken literally. If so, the reality must be so indescribable that it can only be symbolized by an eternal lake of fire. Perhaps it is some distant star, since stars are essentially lakes of fire, and those “that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ” are to be “punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord” (2 Thessalonians 1:8-9).
Rather than questioning the reality of hell, which is the just destiny of all who reject or ignore the free 'gift of salvation' provided by the infinite love and sacrificial suffering of God Himself in Christ on their behalf, men and women should come to Christ in faith and “be saved from wrath through him” (Romans 5:9). --ICR/HMM [Our Lord Jesus paid our sin-debt on that Cross. --Lake of Fire? Hell? Forever tormented? Does Our Lord --Mention these topics. YES!
--What Jesus Said About Hell --By: Henry Morris, Ph.D. Evidence for Creation
“And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell” (Matthew 5:29).
People do not like to think about hell—especially those who are headed there! But that doesn’t mean it isn’t real.
We need to know that the Lord Jesus Himself often warned about the reality of hell. Our text is in His Sermon on the Mount, a message often quoted because of its wonderful promises. Hell is also mentioned in the same sermon in Matthew 5:22 and 5:30. Jesus also stressed in that sermon that “broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be that go in thereat” (Matthew 7:13). He later warned that we should “fear Him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell” (Matthew 10:28).
The religious leaders of the day were not exempt. To them, speaking of their religious hypocrisy, He said: “Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?” (Matthew 23:33).
Hell is also a place of fire or possibly of some fearful environment that could only be described adequately under the metaphor of fire. “Depart from me,” He will say to the lost souls at His coming judgment, “into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels” (Matthew 25:41). It is called a “lake of fire” by Christ in John’s vision of Him on His great white throne, where He will have to say: “But the fearful, and unbelieving, . . . and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death” (Revelation 21:8).
Hell will indeed be very real—eternally real! Since Christ is both our Creator and our Savior, who died for our sins and defeated death by His resurrection, it is foolish for anyone to reject His revelation about hell. [Why did Jesus talk more about Hell than about Heaven? To keep us out of there! He came to save the lost, those who do not know Him as Savior, and will not live in the presence of God the Father into eternity. Please, if you do not know the Lord Jesus, invite Him into your heart, by confessing you are a sinner in need of Him, the Savior. Repent of your sins, and ask Him to take over. He will help change you from the inside out. He turns no one away, that asks sincerely. Come to the Father, through Jesus the Son, and give Him the glory, great things He has done!Tell Him, Lord You are Good, Come Let your glory fall!
---"Enter through the narrow gate for wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."
Like many people today, the Israelites in Jesus’ time believed they were destined for Heaven. They mistakenly thought that to join God’s family, good works and an intellectual faith were all that He required.
To help us grasp the truth about how to enter His Father’s kingdom, Jesus described two roads leading in opposite directions. One is a broad highway, where most people travel. Theirs is an easy journey, as it requires few commitments and allows all kinds of philosophies. Because just about everything is acceptable, each person is free to be self-indulgent and choose whatever seems best. The broad path promises to give us whatever we desire, but in the end, it delivers nothing of lasting value.
The other road is narrow. It has a small entrance, because there is only one way to be reconciled to God—through faith in Christ. Traveling on this path requires a commitment to the Savior and a lifestyle of dependence, sacrifice, and trust.
Once we belong to Jesus, the Holy Spirit empowers us for everything that is required on the way of righteousness: loving God with our whole heart, loving our neighbors, and carrying out the Lord’s purposes. His plans are to take precedence over our own. In contrast to the disappointments on the broad road, every divine promise is guaranteed.
Each of us must choose which path to take: the wide one that ends in hopelessness and eternal separation from the Lord, or the narrow one leading to life everlasting. If you desire a relationship with God through Jesus, just ask Him, He will accept your prayer of confession and repentance out of your sincere heart. --IN TOUCH~~ (Side Note)= When our Lord Jesus was nailed to a Cross at Calvary, to die for the sins of the whole world, (if you accept Him as your Lord and Savior), what did He cry out? ""Eloi, Eloi. lama sabachthani!" --which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken Me?" Jesus is God-Man. He never ceased being One with the Father. Please ask the Father, through Jesus, to forgive you of your sins and be assured of spending eternity with Him. Why did Jesus go through such a brutal death? 'Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.' Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament Law. "IT IS FINISHED!"<http://youtu.be/J04SdL-SI7U>

--Question:"Is Hell literally a place of fire and brimstone?"
--Answer: By raining down fire and brimstone upon the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, God not only demonstrated how He felt about overt sin, but He also launched an enduring metaphor. After the events of Genesis 19:24, the mere mention of fire, brimstone, Sodom or Gomorrah instantly transports a reader into the context of God’s judgment. Such an emotionally potent symbol, however, has trouble escaping its own gravity. This fiery image can impede, rather than advance, its purpose. A symbol should show a similarity between two dissimilar entities. Fire and brimstone describes some of what Hell is like—but not all of what Hell is.
The word the Bible uses to describe a burning hell—Gehenna—comes from an actual burning place, the valley of Gehenna adjacent to Jerusalem on the south. Gehenna is an English transliteration of the Greek form of an Aramaic word, which is derived from the Hebrew phrase “the Valley of (the son[s] of) Hinnom.”
In one of their greatest apostasies, the Jews (especially under kings Ahaz and Manasseh) passed their children through the fires in sacrifice to the god Molech in that very valley (2 Kings 16:3; 2 Chronicles 33:6; Jeremiah 32:35). Eventually, the Jews considered that location to be ritually unclean (2 Kings 23:10), and they defiled it all the more by casting the bodies of criminals into its smoldering heaps. In Jesus’ time this was a place of constant fire, but more so, it was a refuse heap, the last stop for all items judged by men to be worthless. When Jesus spoke of Gehenna hell, He was speaking of the city dump of all eternity. Yes, fire was part of it, but the purposeful casting away—the separation and loss—was all of it.
In Mark 9:43 Jesus used another powerful image to illustrate the seriousness of hell. “If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out.” For most readers, this image does escape its own gravity—in spite of the goriness! Few believe that Jesus wants us literally to cut off our own hand. He would rather that we do whatever is necessary to avoid going to hell, and that is the purpose of such language—to polarize, to set up an either/or dynamic, to compare. Since the first part of the passage uses imagery, the second part does also, and therefore should not be understood as an encyclopedic description of Hell.
In addition to fire, the New Testament describes Hell as a bottomless pit (abyss) (Revelation 20:3), a lake (Revelation 20:14), darkness (Matthew 25:30), death (Revelation 2:11), destruction (2 Thessalonians 1:9), everlasting torment (Revelation 20:10), a place of wailing and gnashing of teeth (Matthew 25:30), and a place of gradated punishment (Matthew 11:20-24; Luke 12:47-48; Revelation 20:12-13). The very variety of Hell’s descriptors argues against applying a literal interpretation of any particular one.
For instance, Hell’s literal fire could emit no light, since hell would be literally dark. Its fire could not consume its literal fuel (persons!) since their torment is non-ending. Additionally, the gradation of punishments within hell also confounds literalness. Does hell’s fire burn Hitler more fiercely than an honest pagan? Does he fall more rapidly in the abyss than another? Does he wail and gnash more loudly or more continually than the other?
The variety and symbolic nature of descriptors do not lessen hell, however—just the opposite, in fact. Their combined effect describes a hell that is worse than death, darker than darkness, and deeper than any abyss. Hell is a place with more wailing and gnashing of teeth than any single descriptor could ever portray. Its symbolic descriptors bring us to a place beyond the limits of our language—to a place far worse than we could ever imagine. -- <http://www.gotquestions.org/fire-and-brimstone.html>
-What must I do to be saved? (Romans 10:9-10) "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be perish."

“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” (John 8:44)
The third verse of “A Mighty Fortress Is Our God” focuses on Satan’s end. God has willed triumph through His truth.
And though this world, with devils filled, Should threaten to undo us, We will not fear; for God hath willed His truth to triumph through us: The Prince of Darkness grim—we tremble not for him; His rage we can endure, For lo, his doom is sure, One little word shall fell him.
When Satan was cast from heaven, fully a third of the angels fell with him (Revelation 12:4), such that a “legion” of them could inhabit one individual (Mark 5:9).
But God has other plans for His children. He desires “to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they might receive forgiveness of sins” (Acts 26:18). He desires us to “resist the devil” (James 4:7) and not “give place to the devil” (Ephesians 4:27).
He also has plans for Satan, including “everlasting chains under darkness” (Jude 1:6), and “everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels” (Matthew 25:41). Just one word and Satan will be “cast into the lake of fire and.... tormented day and night for ever and ever” (Revelation 20:10).
Jesus, anticipating His execution, spoke of it triumphantly. This had been His Father’s will all along. “Now shall the prince of this world be cast out. And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me” (John 12:31-32), and now the battle is His. --ICR/ JDM [Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life.
