An prophetic (future-telling) passage in the Bible refers to the method used to deceive the entire world into believing "The Lie" shortly before the return of Christ:

"...For your merchants were the great men of the earth, for by your sorcery all the nations were deceived." —Revelation 18:23

The word 'sorcery' (Strongs # 5331) in this passage is the Greek word 'pharmakeia' (far-mak-i'-ah). It is defined in Strong's Greek Dictionary of the New Testament as follows:

medication ("pharmacy"): This is the word from which we get our modern word "pharmaceutical", and the rendered meaning is "to drug or poison".

The word "great" in this passage does not mean "good". It means "powerful".

The word "merchants" means trader, or wholesaler; in modern terms, manufacturers or resellers, and could perhaps be best rendered "industrialists"

With this in mind, this is how the verse would read in modern English:

"...for your industrialists were the powerful men of the earth, for by your drugging and poisoning were all the nations deceived." —Revelation 18:23

This passage clearly identifies the method used to deceive the entire world (except for a small group) in the time shortly before the return of Christ. Global industrialists have implemented global government which they call "The New World Order". This global government system will be based on - what the Bible calls - "the lie". It's vital that you know what the lie is so you can avoid it.

What is "the lie"?

Although written 2000 years ago, this Bible verse clearly exposes exactly how the population will be dumbed-down so as to facilitate a global deception: Namely through drugging and poisoning. Historically, nothing describes a global poisoning more completely than modern-day chemtrails ("geoengineering").

Once you study world politics in detail, you will soon realize that global industry does in fact control all governments of the world right now. All governments are now completely controlled by the powerful international banking families who are also the global industrialists ("merchants").
