Well if coconut oil suits you, what the hey. I read in a book that it dries out your skin a bit and I noticed it would make the tops of my hands look a tad older then when I used other stuff, well they are old but I don't like them to look that way. Great to eat though. I alway use coconut oil for baking, cookies and stuff, pie crusts etc. The fluffiest pie crusts ever.

I have never met a cat that didn't appreciate being clean and unitchy. I have had the opportunity to treat a good dozen and a half cats to baths over the years, probably 6 or 7 my own, I've always had a cat around, and then we would let stray kittens in when they would wander up (still do that), treat 'em real good for a few weeks, clean 'em up, litter train them, tie a bow on their necks and take them to a picnic or something with a sign on them that says 'I need a home'. Really. I can find a kitten/young cat a nice home with loving little girl within 15 minutes every time with that routine. They spit and sputter a bit the first time, you have to keep reassuring them, but they love being clean and pretty smelling when they are dry. They love the attention they get afterwards too. You really have to baby them through it, cradle them in a blankie as they dry and they actually do pretty well with it. That cat in NY that used to hunt pigeons, he actually liked baths, he was the only one that actually sat in the kitchen sink and smiled all the way through it. He had a water fixation, was always amazed by a dripping faucet.. he would sit and look at the water dripping for hours, try to catch it in his paws. he was real cute. all white like yours. He ran off after some lady cat one day and got lost in the city unfortunately. He was fixed and he runs after a lady cat. well he was born on the street and eventually wanted to go back I guess. Still, I cried for weeks.

We have another cat coming next week. I really dont want another, I hope our current boarder does ok with her. But I cannot turn the cat away, it's a hard hard woeful request from our landlord because the cat belonged to their son who has gotten ill of late, may have epilepsy, it runs in their family. They practically begged me to take her what can I do. So for diplomacy sake I will take another cat. egads. But they want to buy my paintings all the time too so downline you never know, it helps to have a rich friend. I could pay my rent in trade. they are millionares 5 or ten times over they hardly need my few bucks.

I do need their love and appreciation.
