This is an excellent way to help detox...and it is so invigorating....those with chronic illness should do it at least once a day. Try it before an epsom salt bath.....another good detoxing tool. http://www.bestcare-uk.com/skin_brushing.htmSandi xoxo

I got them at Home Depot, it is a chain of home improvement stores...if you can't find them, I could get you one and send it over. Did you get the baking powder yet?

Hi! I've been drybrushing for over a year now and have noticed that I no longer have cellulite on my thighs- or even my rear-end :-)
That wasnt the reason I drybrush though- I do it because I read that it helps detox the lymphatic system. Rebounding, (jumping on a trampoline) also does this - as does walking.
I dry brush in the morning before work every day and now have made it a habit I can't live without.
I also love Epsom Salt baths. It detoxes, but to some degree, your body does soak up some of the magnesium in the Epsom Salts- which those who are mercury toxic are in desperate need of.
I notice that after a bath with Epsom Salts, that I am so ultra calm and peaceful-- i love the feeling, and do not get this with an ordinary bath.

I don't like soaking either, because of the fluoride. Sandi, does your shower filter get rid of fluoride? Most of them don't.

I love your picture Boldylocks, and yes I agree the dry brushing makes a world of difference for detoxing and the disappearing cellulite is just a nice added bonus.
Not sure if it removes fluoride Dallas, I am sorry I don't know...it only claims to remove about 99% of chemicals...so I am sure there is still some left...and it has to be changed quite frequently...more often than we do it!!! But as soon as you notice the pressure diminishing, you know it is time as the shower head is probably clogging up with chemicals and bacteria.
I asked at city hall once if our water supply had fluoride and they said no, but I wouldn't believe them unless they signed a sealed and sworn affadavit.

British water has fluoride in it and the water companies dont hide the fact either, as its supposed to be good for us they all say. I actually found a bottle of mineral water in my local supermarket and on the back amongst other things contains aluminium and fluoride, from scotland.
