What I use to clean my house.
White vinegar, baking soda, borax, sweet orange essential oil, tea tree essential oil, colloidal silver.
Different applications for different kinds of cleaning.
Floor ? 16 oz of water, 1 oz of borax and 15 drops of sweet orange EO & TT EO, sometimes use the CS water instead of regular water. Put in spray bottle, spray entire floor, let sit for 5-10 minutes and mop up.
Laundry Detergent - 16 oz of handmade unscented soap made for laundry (no free oils in it) in my big pot (maybe 6 quarts?, I?ll have to look at it to see how big it is) filled with water, low heat until the soap is all melted. Once melted, remove from heat and add 2 cups of washing soda (not baking soda) and 2 cups of borax. Stir it occasionally as it cools down. If you want it thinner, add more water, if you want it thicker, use less water. Very flexible recipe. You?ll need to play around with how much to use, depending on how dirty your laundry is and the type of washer you have. I personally use 1 cup for very dirty laundry to ½ cup for clothes that just need ?refreshed?. I also add 1 ounce of sweet orange EO.
Laundry stain stick ? make soap with 100% CO (no free oils) with 2 tsp of sweet orange EO added to it.
Dishwasher ? haven?t quite got it figured out yet, any suggestions?
Anyone want specifics about what to clean and how to do it as I do in my home, let me know. I could write a book on this.
BTW, the BEST towels to use when dusting or doing windows are old baby cloth diapers. They last forever and do not leave behind lint at all and are very absorbent. If you see those at a resale, buy them and use and reuse them.

I just tried a dishwasher detergent from Trader Joes. It's works pretty good. I've been environmentally sensitive for years and haven't had an alternative until now.
