This page
provides information to help you accomplish a
specific task with the HART on CD program.
How to create a shortcut to the program on your desktop
This "How To" explains how you can create
a shortcut on your Windows virtual "desktop" which will
start the HART on CD program.
NOTE: You do not have to have a
shortcut on your virtual "desktop" in order to run the
HART on CD program. You can easily start the program by following
the instructions on this
page.
Creating a shortcut on your desktop is a simple
procedure which you can do for any Windows program you wish. We
are providing these instructions here for your convenience.
STEP #1 - Move
Your Mouse Pointer Over The HART on CD Program in the Start Menu
NOTE: In order to complete this
step, the HART on CD program must already be installed on your
computer
Click the Windows "Start" button.
The Windows "Start Menu" will appear.
Move your mouse pointer over "Programs".
The "Program Menu" will appear.
Now, move your mouse pointer over "HART
on CD". The HART on CD program menu will appear.
STEP #2 - Determine the Location
for the Shortcut
Press and HOLD the RIGHT mouse button down on
the HART on CD item which just appeared (in the HART on CD program
menu).
With the RIGHT mouse button held down, move
the mouse over the virtual "desktop" area of the screen,
or over the taskbar, whichever location you wish to place the
shortcut.
STEP #3 - Create the Shortcut
Finally, release the RIGHT mouse button. A menu
will appear.
Click "Create Shortcut Here" from
the menu.
Presto! You've just made a shortcut to the HART
on CD program. Remember, you can do this with any program on your
Windows start menu.
