How To

This page provides information to help you accomplish a specific task with the HART on CD program.

How To Install HART On CD On Your Computer

This page shows you how to install the HART On CD program on your computer.

STEP #1 - Restart Your Computer

It is best to restart your computer before installation begins to ensure that installation works properly.

STEP #2 - Install The Program

A. Run the HART On CD installation program. You can do this by clicking the following link:

B. Now click item #1: "2.00 Full Install":

On the window that pops up, if you have a button labeled "Run" or "Open" Follow these steps:

B-1. Click the "Run" or "Open" button.

B-2. Wait for the download to complete.

B-3. Click "Run" on the new window that appears. The HART On CD installer will open in 10 to 60 seconds.

B-4. Proceed to step C.

On the window that pops up, if you have a button labeled "Save File " Follow these steps:

B-1. Click the "Save File" button.

B-2. If a window opens asking where you want to save the file, just click the "Save" or "OK" button.

B-3. Wait for the download to complete.

B-4. When the download is complete, open the "Downloads" window (if it is not already open). You can do this by clicking "Tools" (in the menu bar), then click "Downloads", or you can press and hold the "CTRL" button while pressing the letter "J" one time.

B-5. Run the HART On CD installer by RIGHT-clicking "Setup.exe" at the top of the "Downloads" window, then click "Open", then click the "OK" button. The HART On CD installer will open in 10 to 60 seconds.

B-6. Proceed to step C.

C. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

IMPORTANT: If during the installation procedure you get a message that says something like this: "A file being copied is not newer than a file on your system...", just click the "No to All" button.

When installation is complete, the HART On CD program will be installed on your computer.

Now, continue with step #3 below.

STEP #3 - Authorize The Program

Now that's you've installed the program, it is necessary to authorize the program to run on your computer.

To do this, call Herb Allure so we can provide you with an authorization code over the phone. The phone number to call is provided on the opening screen of the HART On CD program.
