This page explains how to update HART On CD documents. This is only necessary when new documents have been released and are available for download using the HART On CD document restore system.

How To Update Documents

When should I download new documents?

It is only necessary to update HART On CD documents when new documents have been released by Herb Allure and are available for download using the HART On CD document restore system.

HART On CD owners will receive an email notification when new documents are available.

How to update documents

Follow these simple instructions to update your HART On CD documents.

Open the HART On CD program.
Begin the document restore process by clicking "Help", then "Restore Documents", then "Automatic Restore".
When the restore process is complete, click the "Close" button, then "OK", then close and reopen the HART On CD program.

When you reopen HART On CD, all of the new and updated documents will be installed and ready for you to use.

If you have problems...

During the preceeding instructions, you may receive an error message and HART On CD may shut down if you have a firewall blocking HART On CD from communicating on the internet.

If this occurs, see the "How To" document (click link below) explaining how to allow HART On CD to communicate on the internet through your firewall, then follow the instructions on this page again.
